Stella is a seasoned business administration professional with more than 10 years of experience in microfinance and community development. She is a transformational leader and a mentor who aims to bridge the gender gap in decision-making through her initiatives that aim to foster financial literacy among underprivileged women in rural Malawi.Stella is of the view that providing a financial opportunity to the unbanked and underserved communities enables them to have an economic voice and become equal members of society. The economic and social gains realized in serving this sector are equally immense and gratifying. With this in mind, she avidly drives financial inclusion for the underserved in society. Stella holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the Malawi Polytechnic.

Dr. Winnie Mkandawire

Winnie is an interdisciplinary, research-oriented strategic planner and data scientist. She has over 10 years of experience spanning the intersections of leadership, project management, monitoring, learning and evaluation, and the development sector. She holds a PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies, a Master of Business Administration, and a Master of Informatics and Computational Science. Winnie brings expertise in business modeling, strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation, and research and development to the company. She also has experience managing social change programs in health, education, agriculture, financial inclusion, and women’s empowerment that achieve results. Winnie is compassionate and enjoys volunteering with local foundations and causes that involve women and youth in Africa and the USA.

Watson Mukumbwa

CEO & Chief Financial Officer

Watson is a certified financial analyst having over 10 years of work experience in audit, accounting, and finance. He has served as auditor and Financial Controller and brings to the Company skill and knowledge in Financial Forecasting, Analysis, Auditing and Financial Reporting. He is a visionary leader and a mentor who aims to bridge the poverty and financial literacy gaps in decision-making through his work in other institutions – Finca and micro-loan Foundation.
Watson has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the Malawi Polytechnic and is pursuing Master’s Degree in Business Administration with the University of the People, USA.
